Description:
Desygner is a bootstrapped Australian startup. It is a platform to create, store and share your branded marketing materials. I worked on the Gold Coast (Australia) from December 2016 until March 2019 as a fullstack software engineer. Mostly focused on the Javascript stack, working on front-end with frameworks like AureliaJS or BackboneJS but also helping with the back-end which was done with Symfony. I would take care of production deployment too on AWS. On April 2019 I moved to Lisbon (Portugal) to help opening Desygner's European offices. While keeping with my software development tasks I helped with the recruitment process to build a strong development team in Portugal. After that I started getting a bit more into the managing part of the company by being a Team Lead, working with a team of 4-5 developers and focusing on the B2B part of the company.

Sttorybox was a startup from Madrid (Spain). It was a platform for writters to share short stories with a big social factor. Other people could read the stories, leave likes, comments and so on. It was developed using Ruby on Rails and I was in charge of the front-end using the Ruby on Rails stack.

The reMarkable is an e-paper note taking device. I built this free service for people to be able to receive newsletters straight into their device as a PDF document. They get a personal email address that they can use to subscribe to newsletter or to forward them and receive it on their device.
